Cool post. Just found you through Brads site so I hope you don't mind me visiting.

I used to stay in hotels for work at least 3 nights a week. I am a creature of habit and would always stay in the same places with the same people working in the same cities. It is the only bit of comfort you find when traveling as much as I did.

I would see some of the strangest people on the planet and pretty sure I have met a "Bill" or two. I was always uncomfortable with it, never knew what to say, how to act, or what to do.

This post sums it up very well and hindsight I wish I would have talked to a "Bill" or two in all of my travels.

Next time, I might approach it differently.

Sweetheart, you waaaaay under estimate yourself.. you are more like Jesus then you think. Why do you think he kept coming back up to the counter? People were atttracted to Jesus. They couldn't stay away from him. That is how you have always been, a people magnet... just like your Jesus. You caught yourself judging, corrected it and prayed for him. That is what a true Christian is. We can't stop the human side from re-acting, but we can pray the Christian side catches up as quick as yours did. We could all take a lesson from that.
